$24.20/hour

Shift:

2nd shift 3:20pm-11:50pm, M-F, Available to work overtime to support production goals as needed

What’s a typical day as Assembly Operator III? You’ll be:

• Assembling and packaging fiber optic connector components and terminating single and multi-fiber cables.
  

• Polishing and testing fiber optic cables and operating specialized equipment for the over-molding process.
  

• Supporting prototype product builds and pre-release NPI builds as needed.
  

• Measuring components using calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices.
  

• Completing necessary operational paperwork to maintain product traceability.
  

• Troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to equipment as required.
  

• Performing cleaning and contamination assessments for optical assemblies and EFG IPC workmanship checks.
  

• Assisting in process development and suggesting changes to improve manufacturing efficiencies.
  

• Maintaining housekeeping and organization in the work area while following all safety guidelines and company policies.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
  

• Bring at least 1 year of manufacturing experience with a solid understanding of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity principles.
  

• Have at least 1 year of experience in a fiber optic manufacturing environment (preferred).
  

• Possess strong hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and attention to detail for intricate work.
  

• Are experienced in using hand tools and reading blueprints (preferred).
  

• Can work in a clean room environment wearing all required PPE and gowning garments.
  

• Are available and willing to work overtime to support production goals.
  

• Demonstrate excellent time management skills, accountability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  

• Are ITAR compliant (U.S. Persons only, due to regulatory requirements).
