Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23.50 per hour
Shift: Choose from 1st or 2nd shifts to fit your lifestyle (scheduled between 8am–8pm)
Location: Enjoy a flexible hybrid model—work 3 days onsite in vibrant Pittsburgh, PA, and 2 days from the comfort of your home

What’s a typical day as Shipment Setup Specialist? You’ll be:

  • Serving as the main liaison and concierge for patients, healthcare offices, and internal field teams, ensuring seamless communication and support throughout the treatment process

  • Organizing and coordinating shipment logistics using pharmacy software and web-based portals to guarantee accurate and timely deliveries of vital therapies

  • Reaching out proactively to patients for initial and refill communications, providing updates, education, and compassionate assistance

  • Enrolling patients in product return programs and ensuring complete, compliant documentation

  • Maintaining detailed electronic records of all interactions and activities in accordance with program guidelines and compliance regulations

  • Addressing and resolving patient and healthcare provider inquiries about referrals, deliveries, and services, escalating concerns as needed while collaborating internally

  • Upholding the highest standards for privacy, compliance, and issue reporting to protect patient safety and organizational integrity

 
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree is a plus

  • Bring at least 4 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment, with a strong knowledge of shipping processes and patient service

  • Possess at least 4 years’ experience in case management or a call center role, demonstrating your ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs

  • Excel at both verbal and written communications, with a history of providing patient-centered support and building positive relationships with patients, medical professionals, and team members

  • Are skilled with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and have solid documentation and organizational abilities

  • Are fluent in Spanish (verbal and written) – this is preferred but not required
