Kelly® Science & Clinical is currently recruiting candidates for a Lab Technician position at a clinical lab in Broomfield CO. This is an entry level position for fresh BS/BA science graduates to begin and build a career in the lab. Pay Range: $50 – 57K DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 hour day shift within the hours of 6:30am-6:30pm

Overview:
The role of the Lab Technician involves adhering to SOPs, operating automated lab equipment, checking the quality of the data, and reporting the test results to the Lab Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling, processing, testing, and reporting of patient test results.

  • Adhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies.

  • Document all quality control activities including instrument calibrations and maintenance performed.

  • Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify the supervisor.

  • Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or related field

  • Fresh graduates with academic lab experience with ELISA are encouraged to apply

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Good documentation skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently once provided appropriate training

  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
