Job Title: Jr. Legal Invoice Analyst
Location: Minneapolis, MN 
Job Type: 6 Month Contract (Contract-to-Hire)
 

Job Summary

seeking Jr. Legal Invoice Analysts to support the legal operations team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will review and audit electronically submitted legal fee and expense invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to billing guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately audit legal fee and expense invoices submitted by law firms and vendors.

  • Identify violations of billing guidelines and document justifications for any adjustments made.

  • Provide guidance to business unit partners about issues or opportunities in the legal billing audit process.

  • Communicate and collaborate with Legal Invoice Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst team members.

  • Maintain organized, accurate, and timely invoice processing.

  • Forward and track audited invoices through the established review chain.

Required Qualifications

  • Paralegal experience required.

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate legal fee and cost/expense invoice entries.

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology; multijurisdictional exposure is preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills; ability to learn new electronic bill auditing software.

  • Exceptional organizational and business math skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.

Additional Details

  • Hybrid work model; candidates must be local to Minneapolis, MN.

  • This is a contract-only position with the possibility of hire after 6 months.
