Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Supply and Logistics Specialist for a premier organization. This is a critical role responsible for managing the end-to-end movement of clinical study materials, ensuring that global clinical programs meet vital milestones through compliant and cost-effective logistics.
 
Pay & Shift Schedules:
Pay Rate: $33.73/hour
Duration: 6 Month Contract, potential to extend or convert long term
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard working hours
On-site in Sunnyvale 
 
Role Overview: What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Supply and Logistics Specialist, you will be the backbone of the clinical supply chain, driving impact by maintaining inventory integrity and supporting seamless international operations, including global clinical and government-funded studies. • Supply Chain Optimization: Manage procurement, international logistics coordination, and inventory control to ensure product availability for critical clinical programs.
• Global Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations and external stakeholders, to align deliveries with strict study timelines.
• Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure compliance with GxP (GCP, GDP) standards, overseeing labeling, packaging, and distribution while maintaining accurate and audit-ready documentation.
• Systems & Tools: Utilize ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, Power Apps, and procurement tools (iBuy) to support shipment tracking, inventory visibility, and operational execution.
• Global Shipping & Documentation: Coordinate international shipments (including Africa, Asia, and Europe), prepare import/export documentation, and work closely with freight forwarders to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
Training & Operational Excellence
• Commitment to Growth: Complete all required regulatory and compliance training and participate in structured handover training during onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
• Operational Support: Support additional purchasing and logistics activities, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities across broader clinical programs based on performance and business needs.
 
Qualifications
We are looking for professionals who bring a blend of technical expertise and organizational excellence:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4+ years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or clinical operations, with exposure to international shipping preferred.
• Core Skills:
? Strong organizational and project management abilities.
? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
? Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic clinical environment.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Knowledge of GxP (GCP/GDP) and FDA/import-export regulations.
• Experience supporting international logistics, including working with freight forwarders or global vendors.
• Familiarity with temperature-controlled or biological shipments and IATA/regulatory shipping requirements.
