Join the Kelly® team as a Fork Lift Operator to work at a premier provider of logistics and distribution services in Auburn, MA.
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20/hour
Shift: 1st 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday
What’s a typical day as a Fork Lift Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating warehouse forklifts safely to handle, move, and store packaged and pre-packaged products
- Accurately completing and submitting all paperwork in a timely manner
- Verifying the condition of customer packages and reporting non-conformance
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse and dock facilities
- Assisting in various warehouse operations as needed, including taking product samples and reporting contaminants
- Accurately inputting data into warehouse management systems
- Consistently following all workplace safety procedures and reporting safety issues promptly
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have at least 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience (certified forklift license preferred)
- Have at least 6 consecutive months of daily forklift driving experience
- Possess a valid state driver’s license
- Can lift up to 55 lbs for 15 minutes and move pallets weighing up to 75 lbs
- Can pass a drug test, background check, and have no felony convictions within the past 7 years
- Are committed to working safely and following all required PPE protocols
- Are able to operate warehouse equipment and use computer/keyboard for data entry
- Are effective at communication, teamwork, accountability, and problem-solving
