Kelly Services is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager for a direct hire opportunity in South Windsor, CT. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role supporting a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment with AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR, CMMC, NADCAP, and customer-specific quality requirements.

Direct Hire
Location: South Windsor, CT
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: Open to negotiation, based on experience

What you’ll be doing:
• Leading Quality Assurance functions and supporting QMS compliance
• Maintaining AS9100D, ISO 9001, ITAR, CMMC, NADCAP, and customer approvals
• Supporting NADCAP Chemical Processing requirements, including AC7108 and AC7108/4
• Leading Management Review Meetings and maintaining QMS documentation
• Providing direction to Masking and Inspection teams
• Managing CAPA, root cause, corrective actions, and nonconforming material
• Overseeing lab activities, solution analysis, pH/conductivity control, and QA verification
• Managing calibration records, inspection requirements, and certification packages
• Supporting salt spray/corrosion testing requirements
• Preparing for internal, customer, QMS, and NADCAP audits
• Maintaining customer portals such as Exostar
• Driving quality KPIs, process improvements, risk-based thinking, product safety, and FOD controls

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 5+ years of aerospace quality, inspection, or special process experience
• Have prior QA, QC, inspection, or quality leadership experience
• Have experience with AS9100D, ISO 9001, NADCAP, FAA/DCMA, ITAR, or customer quality requirements
• Have special process experience such as IVD, chemical processing, coating, masking, or inspection
• Are strong with blueprint reading, gages, inspection tools, and quality documentation
• Have experience with CAPA, root cause, audits, and nonconformance management
• Have exposure to solution analysis, pH/conductivity testing, or salt spray testing
• Are comfortable communicating with customers, operators, inspectors, and senior leadership

Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical degree or equivalent aerospace quality experience
• NADCAP audit experience
• NDT/FPI familiarity or Level II/III exposure
• Exostar/customer portal experience
• ERP and certification package experience
