Kelly Services is hiring a CNC Setup Machinist in New Britain, CT!

Join a precision manufacturing team producing complex machined components for the aerospace, commercial, and medical industries. This role is ideal for experienced machinists with strong setup, troubleshooting, and inspection skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC machines for production runs

  • Interpret blueprints, routings, and technical work instructions

  • Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine settings as needed

  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure tight tolerances are met

  • Troubleshoot machining and setup issues during production

  • Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation

  • Support safe, clean, and organized manufacturing operations
What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of CNC machining and setup experience required

  • Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills

  • Experience working with tight tolerances

  • Proficiency using precision measuring equipment

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple setups and production priorities

  • Experience in aerospace machining preferred
Schedule & Pay

  • Monday-Friday | 7:00AM-3:30PM | Full-Time

  • $25.00–$33.00/hr DOE

  • Temp-to-Hire
