Copper Bus Bar/ EHRT Operator
2nd shift
Monday-Thursday 3:15pm – 1:45am
Required: 3-5 Years OTJ Machinist +/or General Fabrication experience. Background in manufacture of precision metal products; Copper bus bar experience preferable.
Position requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Skill set: Operations of multi station Punch Machine / Copper Bar. Ability to create and edit programs / Fanuc, G code, etc. Ability to accurately read and interpret prints/ drawings/specs. Deburring, drilling and tapping of materials. Understanding and execution of material inspection procedures.
Computer experience. Ability to use handheld inspection equipment; Calipers + Micrometers. Understanding and support all relevant Ometek, Inc. policies, procedures and work instructions. Familiar with ISO standards.
Additional necessary Job functions: Physical demands: Bending, Twisting, Standing, Stooping, Sitting, Walking, and Reaching overhead. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to prioritize job functions to meet demands of position in a busy job shop environment. Ability to work well independently, as well as within a team. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Forklift / Pallet jack experience.
