Press Brake Operator
2nd shift – 3:15pm – 1:45am
Training on 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Required Skill set for Brake Operators/Fabricators: Ability to perform own set ups and operate our 85 – 250 ton CNC + ATC Amada + Toyokoki Brakes cannot be merely operators. Top notch print reading and interpretation skills. Ability to work within tolerances of + .005 and degree. Able to accurately measure and record results of part dimensions + characteristics using calipers and mics. Ability to adjust offsets. Demonstrated detail orientation. Work well independently and on a team in
Job Shop environment. Ability to follow and retain instructions.

Familiarity with ISO procedures /quality standards is beneficial. Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of a 10 hour shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. average parts run 2-25 lbs

Required General Fabrication skills: Ability to learn Hardware insertion tasks. Operate Finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc. 2-3 yrs. Minimum knowledge + experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.

Mechanically inclined: able to use a variety of power/air and hand tools including rivet gun. High attention to detail fine tactical ability. Pallet jack experience
Position requires: Ability to take direction; work independently as well as a part of a team. Reliable/dependable attendance record. Contribute to team dynamics, offering solutions to move projects forward. Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of a 10 hour shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. average parts run 2-25 lbs . Minimal computer experience Word/Excel, business software system . Organizational skills. OT possible at times

Supports various departments on shop floor including but not limited to: Fabrication, Hardware insertion, Assembly, etc. OTJ + cross training provided. Will train and work in tandem with experienced and seasoned associates already on staff.

All Shop positions require: High school diploma or equivalent
