Job Summary: Shipper / Receiver (Temporary, 3–6 Months)
Location: 100% on-site at Worcester, 01606
Work Schedule: 1st shift – 5 am to 2 pm, Mon to Fri
Pay rate: $24/h
Status: W2 contract under staffing agency, Temp only (3 to 6 months)
Core Responsibility: Manage the end-to-end movement of materials, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and domestic/international shipping.
Physical & Mental Demands

Strength: Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs independently.

Activity: Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and manual dexterity. Occasional climbing, kneeling, or crawling.

Vision: Strong close-up, peripheral, and depth perception required for safety and accuracy.
Work Environment

Setting: Manufacturing floor near moving mechanical parts; moderate noise levels.

Conditions: Occasional exposure to heat, fumes, and dust.

Safety: Use of PPE (gloves, safety shoes, masks, etc.) is mandatory.
Key Skills & Requirements

Education: HS diploma /GED (or higher).
Equipment: Must have forklift experience. Proficiency with palletizers, shrink-wrappers, and high-rise lifts.

Documentation: Experience with Bills of Lading, NAFTA certifications, and international shipping regs.

Systems: Competency in computerized inventory, shipping (tracking/receiving), and A/P-A/R management.

Logistics: Verifying goods against packing slips, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate digital records.
