Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience across phone, email, and online channels. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates confidently, and has an interest in boating, marine equipment, or outdoor recreation. You’ll work alongside experienced industry professionals while gaining valuable product knowledge and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer support via phone, email, and live chat

  • Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations from a wide range of marine equipment and accessories

  • Process customer orders accurately, including freight shipments and international shipping arrangements

  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining a professional and positive experience

  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships

  • Support special orders, custom requests, and technical product inquiries

  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products through consultative customer interactions

  • Stay informed on marine products, industry trends, and company offerings

  • Collaborate with team members and assist with cross-functional projects as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous customer service, call center, or retail support experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems quickly

Preferred

  • Knowledge of boating, marine products, or watersports industries

  • Experience with specialty retail, technical products, or consultative sales

  • Familiarity with freight coordination, shipping logistics, or international order processing

Work Environment

This role is based in a collaborative call center environment with regular use of phones and computer systems. Occasional interaction with warehouse and retail areas may require standing or walking. Success in this role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a willingness to continuously learn.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience
