Accountant/Fixed Asset Specialist
Boulder, Colorado | 6-month Contract | Pay: $45–$60/hour DOE + Completion Bonus
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm/ Onsite
We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Fixed Asset Specialist to support a large-scale SAP transformation initiative. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Fixed Asset Accounting, General Ledger, ERP data migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SAP ECC to S/4HANA fixed asset migration activities
- Resolve AuC close-out backlog and support asset capitalization processes
- Review, cleanse, validate, and reconcile fixed asset master data
- Match equipment records to SAP Asset Management records and identify discrepancies
- Support physical inventory counts and reconcile results against SAP records
- Support vendor, bank master, and GL account data cleansing activities
- Identify duplicate, inactive, or incorrect records and flag for SME review
- Use FBL3N data and Excel lookup functions to support account mapping and validation
- Support GRIR cleanup and make corrections in SAP ECC
- Maintain mapping files and migration documentation
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of:
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- General Ledger
- Financial data cleansing and reconciliation
- Experience with SAP Asset Management and Equipment Records preferred
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Engineering, Maintenance, and Procurement teams
