Pay Rate: $17.50 / hour +1.50 (Temp to Hire)
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1:45am (4×10 Schedule)
First Day Starts at 2 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Assembly Technician to join our team specializing in custom glass solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling metal components according to exacting standards, contributing directly to the quality and craftsmanship of our custom glass furniture and products.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal quality standards and unique customer requirements for custom glass solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and actively participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and workflow efficiency.

  • Interpret job orders to determine material requirements and develop cutting plans.

  • Accurately measure and mark materials to be cut, ensuring precision according to project specifications.

  • Set up and operate a variety of cutting machines, including both manual and automated systems.

  • Perform manual cutting of metal materials, as necessary, for the packing and assembly of custom glass furniture.

  • Assemble components using pinch presses and other relevant tools, ensuring secure fittings and alignment.

  • Inspect completed assemblies for compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and delivery deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in metal assembly, fabrication, or a related field is preferred.

  • Familiarity with manual and automated cutting equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to quality.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job orders.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to contribute to process improvements.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
