Sales Support Associate – Carson, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Support Associate to support daily sales operations through administrative, clerical, and data entry functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, has strong communication skills, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the efficient day-to-day operations of the sales team and department

  • Establish and maintain files, records, and process incoming/outgoing mail

  • Answer incoming calls from customers and internal contacts, take messages, and follow up as needed

  • Perform accurate data entry using company-specific software systems

  • Process purchase orders, sales orders, sales quotes, expediting, buyouts, and direct shipments

  • Verify vendor information including shipping, billing, and customer support details

  • Assist with competitive analysis and preparation of reports or materials

  • Support general office operations including:

    • Travel arrangements

    • Expense reporting

    • Filing and copying

    • Office supply ordering


  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, management, and internal teams

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding contracts, pricing, and department information

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

  • Follow workplace safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business office environment

  • Strong administrative, clerical, and data entry skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:

    • Excel

    • Outlook


  • Ability to learn purchasing systems, RAZOR, and other company software

  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Professional communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Flexibility to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime as needed
