Kelly Services is hiring for Machine Operators in Nevada, TX!

The Metal Manufacturing Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining metal fabrication machines used in the production process. This role ensures that metal parts and products are manufactured to specification, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Pay: $25+/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with possible overtime
Essential Functions

  • Operate metalworking machines such as presses, shears, rollers, CNC machines, or lathes


  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings


  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications


  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues


  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards


  • Record production data and report any material or equipment issues


  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Work Experience

  • Required Experience: 1 to 2 years 1/2


  • Previous manufacturing experience in the metal roofing and siding industry


  • Previous experience with setup, calibration, and operations

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with production management.


  • Strong problem-solving skills


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in an effective, safe manner


  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.


  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, work in a non-climate-controlled environment (Outside, hot / cold climates) Lift up to 70 pounds.
