Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $39,520 – $78,000 (based on skills, experience, and level)

Shift: First shift, Monday–Friday between 5am–3pm, with overtime opportunities available

What’s a typical day as Plant Facility Technician? You’ll be:

  • Performing plant maintenance, cleaning, basic repairs, and pest control for buildings and property

  • Conducting regular preventive maintenance on company trucks and forklifts

  • Assisting with separation of metal chips and oil/solvents, keeping the property clean and orderly

  • Inspecting and evaluating repairs to property or equipment, communicating needs to management or consultants

  • Requisitioning supplies and equipment for repairs, replacements, cleaning, and maintenance duties

  • Understanding and following waste and water disposal procedures

  • Adhering to safety principles for the use of chemical cleaners, tools, and power equipment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a strong mechanical background (required)

  • Have a high school diploma or GED 

  • Are able to interpret instructions both written and oral, and communicate effectively in English

  • Have previous work experience in a manufacturing or facilities setting 

  • Possess knowledge of basic shop math

  • Can occasionally exert push force up to 50 pounds, have good eyesight and hand dexterity, and can identify and distinguish colors

  • Enjoy working as part of a team to resolve work issues
