Forklift Operator / Equipment Operator – Stock Picker (Cherry Picker)
Location: La Vergne, TN
Pay Rate: $18.74/hr
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:55am – 3:25pm
Are you looking for a great opportunity to join a growing warehouse team? We are seeking two reliable Equipment Operators to support our 1st shift warehouse operations. If you have experience operating stock pickers (cherry pickers), enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working at heights, we’d love to hear from you!
Job Description:
As an Equipment Operator, your main responsibility will be operating a stock picker/cherry picker to retrieve and move inventory throughout the warehouse. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and safely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate stock picker/cherry picker lift equipment to move and retrieve inventory
- Fulfill daily warehouse orders and ensure accurate handling of merchandise
- Stack, organize, and transport materials as assigned
- Perform daily equipment and safety checks
- Execute assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within your work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory and workflow
Requirements:
- Experience operating stock pickers/cherry pickers in a warehouse or similar environment (required)
- Must not be afraid of heights; able to work safely and comfortably at elevations
- Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for assigned shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
