Job Title: Maintenance Tech. 2nd shift
Pay: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour
Job description:
Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Air-conditioned environment with some exposure to heat and cold.

  • Sunday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 12:15 am ; Overtime may be required based on business needs.

  • Shift during training period will be Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM then will move to 1:00 pm start time after training. Training period hours and length is flexible.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor all installed equipment and systems for proper operation.

  • Troubleshoot, identify, and safely implement predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance solutions.

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance using eMaint maintenance software.

  • Manage sub-contractors and generate purchase orders for parts and services.

  • Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data.

  • Instruct production workers in routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance.

  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic electrical knowledge (480/240/120 volts)

  • Familiarity with bearings, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, fluid pumping, welding, and rigging.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Use of hand, power, and specialized tools.

  • Experience with brazing and open-air furnaces a plus.

  • PLC troubleshooting and AutoCAD experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling.

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Stand for extended periods.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience.

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and work independently or with minimal supervision.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Experience in welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance.
