Job Title: Coating Tech. 1st and 2nd shift
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
1st shift – Monday – Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 Pm
2nd shift – Monday – Friday – 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Job description:
Job Functions:
· Applying by dipping or pouring, a catalytic WashCoat (looks like a paint- but water based) to a substrate.
o Substrates can be ceramic or metallic
o Same size shape or larger, as per a normal auto catalytic converter
· Recording weights (typing numbers into a field in a database)
· Packing coated substrates into a batching oven
· Packing coated and heat-treated substrates onto a pallet
· Ancillary functions:
o Laser etching codes on side of coated substrate
o Applying an insulation tape on the perimeter of a coated substrate.
o Maintain Coating Stations and Equipment Clean
· No powder coatings or any other type of highly specialized coating necessary.
· Very manual labor, a person in this function needs to be able to lift 50lbs
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience working with chemicals a plus
· Computer skills a plus
· Forklift experience a plus
· No felonies
· Drug Test required
· Must be able to produce valid ID
