Title: Laboratory Assistant / PART-TIME
Location: East Hanover, NJ
Duration: 6 + months
Pay: $20.00 – $23.33/hour (depending on experience)
Overview
- Provide essential support to our Research & Development (R&D) team.
- This role will focus on assisting with various lab tasks, including sample management, shipping, safety compliance, and general lab upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for R&D, Marketing, and Sales requests.
- Assist with domestic shipments, including packing and generating UPS waybills.
- Receive incoming shipments, unpack shippers, and notify developers.
- Support other R&D tasks as requested, such as setting up and cleaning up product reviews, benchtop prototyping, and sample analysis.
- Manage lab and sample inventory.
- Log data and information digitally
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., email, data entry).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages.
- Ability to learn new digital systems
Additional Information
- Onsite / Part-Time: 20 – 32 hours per week
