Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Packaging Associate to work at a premier medical device manufacturing organization in Round Lake, IL. Sound like something you’re interested in? Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Shift:

3rd shift: 11:20pm -7:50am Sunday – Thursday

What’s a typical day as Packaging Associate? You’ll be:

  • Packaging medical device components and assemblies according to strict quality standards

  • Labeling and preparing shipments to ensure parts are protected and complete

  • Stacking boxes on pallets and preparing for shipping or storage per standard operating procedures

  • Maintaining accurate inventory of components and replenishing as needed

  • Reporting discrepancies or quality issues to Team Leaders and escalating concerns appropriately

  • Following all standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements

  • Completing required training and certifications on schedule

  • Keeping your workspace clean and organized, following 6S principles

  • Participating in safety initiatives and reporting hazards or incidents promptly

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED (required)

  • Can read and comprehend job instructions, part specifications, and assembly drawings

  • Possess strong visual inspection skills for detecting defects

  • Work well in a team and communicate effectively

  • Are adaptable and eager to learn new processes and technologies

  • Are able to stand and walk for most of the shift and lift up to 55 pounds (with team lift or equipment)

  • Have good manual dexterity, visual acuity, and color vision
