- Pay Rate: $34.29.00/hour
- Location: Nashville, TN
- Work Setup: Hybrid preferred (onsite a few days per week); fully remote may be considered based on candidate location
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours per Week: 40 hours
- Assignment Length: 11-12 Months
What’s a typical day as a Lead Project Manager, Human Resources? You’ll:
- Lead complex, high-impact HR projects that support corporate strategy and business objectives
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics from initiation through completion
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across HR, technology, retail, digital experience, marketing, and external vendors
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, resources, and deadlines
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Monitor project performance, budgets, milestones, and outcomes using established metrics
- Prepare and present project status updates and strategic recommendations to leadership
- Drive alignment among stakeholders and facilitate communication across project teams
- Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies based on project needs
- Lead project team members and provide guidance to ensure successful execution
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 2–3 years of project management experience
- Possess strong project planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrate expertise in risk and issue management
- Can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Are comfortable working independently and making decisions with minimal supervision
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience leading HR-related projects or initiatives
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business teams
- Ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience working with external vendors and business partners
