About the Role
We are seeking an HR Data Entry Specialist to support a large public university in Cleveland. This role sits within a busy HR department that supports a diverse employee population across academic and administrative functions.
This is a great fit for someone with strong administrative or data entry experience who enjoys detailed, process-driven work and is interested in gaining exposure to HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update employee information in the HR system with a high degree of accuracy
- Review and process employee data, including personal, job, and payroll-related information
- Perform routine data checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain employee files and assist with general administrative tasks
- Support I-9 tracking and documentation processes
- Respond to internal inquiries and provide customer-focused support
- Assist with reports and other HR-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative or data entry experience (HR experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
