About the Role
We are seeking an HR Data Entry Specialist to support a large public university in Cleveland. This role sits within a busy HR department that supports a diverse employee population across academic and administrative functions.

This is a great fit for someone with strong administrative or data entry experience who enjoys detailed, process-driven work and is interested in gaining exposure to HR operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update employee information in the HR system with a high degree of accuracy

  • Review and process employee data, including personal, job, and payroll-related information

  • Perform routine data checks to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Maintain employee files and assist with general administrative tasks

  • Support I-9 tracking and documentation processes

  • Respond to internal inquiries and provide customer-focused support

  • Assist with reports and other HR-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative or data entry experience (HR experience a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
