What’s a typical day as a Production Worker? You’ll be:
– Operating PVD coating furnaces to coat carbide and Cermet inserts, ensuring proper setup and cleanliness of products.
– Loading and unloading fixtures, entering product weights and coating cycle information into the computer, and monitoring the coating process.
– Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning fixtures and base plates, replacing gas tanks, and conducting batch cleanings at appropriate intervals.
• Verifying visual characteristics of scope inserts
• Scanning correct production information
• Setting up printer and verifying labels, numbers, and product amounts
• Selecting correct tray style
• Transferring material from trays or rods onto conveyor belt
• Verifying printing on insert, packing into trays, applying labels
• Snapping insert trays together in groups
• Running lidder/labeler and performing basic machine changeovers
• Conducting basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks
• Maintaining basic housekeeping responsibilities
