Full time contract to direct opportunity in Santa Ana, CA for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic.
The role requires a high level of demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Employees in this position must be capable of independently analyzing equipment, interpreting schematics and technical documentation, and effectively troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Will train on 1st shift for 4-8 weeks then move to 2nd shift
Will be required to work possible Saturdays
Hourly rate: $35.00 – $45.00/hr
Main tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Implementing, diagnosing, and repairing simple electrical and electronic circuits
• Troubleshooting and repairing both simple and complex hydraulic circuits.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
• Conform to all applicable safety standards.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance for specified area (if applicable).
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Understand and implement the health and safety policy and to integrate health and safety considerations into daily work activities
• Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
