Location: Union City, CA
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our mechanical team in Union City. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability and efficient production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and hands-on experience with food processing and packaging equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of industrial mechanics and maintenance staff

  • Plan, assign, and prioritize maintenance tasks and schedules

  • Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance activities

  • Ensure proper maintenance of food manufacturing equipment (processing, packaging, production lines)

  • Promote and enforce safety, GMP, and food safety standards

  • Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime

  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain maintenance records and report on team performance

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience, with supervisory experience preferred

  • Background in food manufacturing or production environments

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Skills:

  • Leadership and team management

  • Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities

  • Communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay rate: 100k-130k DOE
