Weekend Warrior Machine Operator – Work 36 Hours, Get Paid for 40!

Kelly is hiring a Machine Operator on behalf of a global leader in gear pumps, pelletizing systems, and filtration technology serving the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
Competitive Pay + $2 Shift Differential
Weekend Shift Friday – Sunday
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up and operate machine shop equipment
- Manufacture precision components to required tolerances
- Select appropriate cutting tools and materials
- Adjust machine settings including speeds, feeds, and depth of cut
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
- Accurately document production and quality data
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of hands-on machine shop experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in Machining Technology
- Experience with Surface Grinding and O.D. Grinding
- Advanced blueprint reading skills
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong visual abilities including close vision, depth perception, and attention to detail
