Weekend Warrior Machine Operator – Work 36 Hours, Get Paid for 40!

Kelly is hiring a Machine Operator on behalf of a global leader in gear pumps, pelletizing systems, and filtration technology serving the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

Competitive Pay + $2 Shift Differential

Weekend Shift Friday – Sunday
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Set up and operate machine shop equipment

  • Manufacture precision components to required tolerances

  • Select appropriate cutting tools and materials

  • Adjust machine settings including speeds, feeds, and depth of cut

  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment

  • Accurately document production and quality data

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • At least 1 year of hands-on machine shop experience

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification or vocational training in Machining Technology

  • Experience with Surface Grinding and O.D. Grinding

  • Advanced blueprint reading skills

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift

  • Lift up to 50 pounds

  • Strong visual abilities including close vision, depth perception, and attention to detail
