Preclinical Developability Support Scientist
Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group Kelly OCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Preclinical Developability Support Scientist for a long-term engagement at one of our Global consumer products clients in Spring House, PA.

Location: Spring House, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8A-5P
Compensation: $30-45/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Ordering and coordination of laboratory supplies including reagents, excipients, solvents, test compounds and basic lab inventory organization

  • Preparation of buffers, media and formulation vehicles

  • Preparation of pre-clinical solution and suspension formulations based on established guidelines

  • Evaluation of physicochemical properties of test compounds including crystallinity, solubility and stability

  • Maintenance and operation of laboratory instrumentation including DSC, TGA, HPLC/UPLC, microscopes, DVS, balances, pH meters etc.

  • Recording of experimental procedures and results in electronic notebook entries, and preparation of reports as necessary

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Biophysical Chemistry, Analytical, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field with minimum 1+ years of directly relevant lab-based experience

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with techniques for characterization of small molecules, peptides and oligonucleotides.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, duties and assignments under defined timelines

  • Detail oriented

  • Excellent teamwork and organizational skills

  • Must be legal to work in USA without sponsorship.
