Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $33.60 per hour

Regular shift – 5 days per week with mandatory 1 day work weekend (you can choose either Saturday or Sunday)

What’s a typical day as Scientist 1 – Research and Development? You’ll be:

  • Performing preculture and cell culture operations of reduced scale bioreactors.

  • Executing lab-scale protocols to support automation and advanced process control of bioreactor operations.

  • Participating in the evaluation of new sensor technologies installed in bioreactors.

  • Conducting offline sample testing and preparing data summaries of bioreactor operations.

  • Reporting to senior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of biotherapeutic manufacturing cell culture operations.

  • Are competent in independently operating reduced scale manufacturing, including aseptic techniques, preculture, and cell culture (strongly preferred).

  • Possess knowledge and experience with process-supporting measurements such as metabolite analyzers and cell counting analyzers.

  • Have excellent communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
