CNC Setup Operator — 3rd Shift

Location: Santa Ana, CA
Shift: 3rd Shift | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Looking for a CNC role where your set-up experience is valued? This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Setup Operator to join a strong manufacturing team in Santa Ana, CA. You’ll work with CNC mills, lathes, manual machines, and HAAS equipment while producing precision parts in a quality-focused environment.

This temp-to-hire opportunity offers competitive pay, steady overnight hours, and the chance to grow with a company that values skilled machine operators.

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, manual machines, and HAAS equipment


  • Read and interpret blueprints, job routings, and tooling instructions


  • Transfer CNC programs and make machine adjustments as needed


  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools


  • Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerance requirements


  • Train and support junior machine operators

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Hands-on CNC mill and lathe set-up experience


  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, and inspection equipment


  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally


  • Manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment


  • Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome to apply
