Shifts & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm ($18/hr.)
- Contract-to-hire position
About the Role:
Kelly Services is seeking dependable Production Operators for our site in Dickson, TN. In this hands-on role, you’ll assist machine operators, ensuring production runs smoothly. If you have a strong work ethic, mechanical adaptability, and take pride in your work, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators (loading/unloading doors, cleaning, general housekeeping)
- Meet all personal performance requirements
- Inspect products for defects and proper paint coverage; complete quality control documentation
- Grade materials per customer specifications; separate unsuitable materials
- Accurately complete daily paperwork; learn and process orders from display monitors
- Communicate product counts and completions promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to 5S standards
- Use downtime to clean, minimizing end-of-shift clean-up
- Assist in other production areas as needed
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and strong work ethic
- Complete knowledge of product grades
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and specification sheets
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Solid hand-eye coordination and mechanical adaptability
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ year in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for up to 8 hours
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements
- Walk, bend, twist, stoop, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in environments exceeding 95°F
- Tolerance for exposure to fiberglass dust
