Location: Onsite – Dickson, Tennessee 37055
Shifts & Pay:
- Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 pm – 7:00 am ($19/hr)
About the Role:
Kelly Services is looking for Production Operators to join our team in Dickson, TN. As a Production Operator, you’ll assist machine operators and help keep our production running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for dependable individuals who take pride in their work and are eager to contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators by loading/unloading doors and performing cleaning or general housekeeping
- Meet all personal performance requirements
- Inspect products for defects and proper paint coverage, completing quality control sheets
- Grade materials off the machine to customer specs, separating unsuitable materials
- Accurately complete daily paperwork and learn to process orders from display monitors
- Communicate product counts and completions promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to 5S standards
- Use delays as opportunities to clean and minimize end-of-shift downtime
- Assist in other areas as requested
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong urgency and work ethic
- Complete knowledge of product grades
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and specification sheets
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Solid hand-eye coordination and mechanical adaptability
Preferred:
- 1+ year experience in a manufacturing setting
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for up to 8 hours
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements
- Walk, bend, twist, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in environments exceeding 95°F
- Tolerance for exposure to fiberglass dust
