Senior Project Manager (Manufacturing) – Contract Opportunity | Franklin, MA
Payrate: $50–$60/hr | Monday- Friday 8am-5pm | 3–4 Month Contract
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to step into a high-impact role supporting cross-functional operations and customer-driven projects during a key leave coverage period.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll partner closely with engineering, production, purchasing, sales, and customers to ensure projects stay on track from concept to completion.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project planning, including scope, schedule, and budget management

  • Facilitate Kick-Offs, Design Reviews, Status Updates, and Project Close-Out meetings

  • Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly order status across managed accounts

  • Drive collaboration between engineering, production, purchasing, and field teams

  • Manage engineering change requests, quoting activities, and documentation control

  • Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies in production workflows

  • Oversee Kanban-based workflows and track key performance metrics (cycle time, WIP, lead time)

  • Partner with Quality Control on inspections, RMAs, and corrective actions

  • Coordinate material planning with procurement and ensure on-time delivery of critical components

  • Conduct post-project reviews and identify process improvement opportunities

  • Maintain strong customer relationships through clear, consistent communication

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Analytical or Technical field preferred

  • Strong background working cross-functionally across technical and operational teams

  • Experience with project tracking tools and Kanban methodology preferred

  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
