What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:
- Performing skilled installation, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and systems.
- Maintaining and modifying all plant and production mechanical, electrical, and electronic control equipment, including pneumatic, magnetic, hydraulic, optic, sonic, and chemical components.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
- Actively observing, auditing, and coaching safe work behaviors and conditions.
- Engaging with suppliers and coordinating with department heads to resolve maintenance and production issues.
- Communicating project status and prioritizing maintenance activities across departments.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have at least five years of maintenance experience with plant mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment.
- Possess knowledge of manufacturing processes such as metal casting, welding, melting, and finishing.
- Are experienced with voltmeters, gauges, thermocouples, PLCs, and HVAC systems.
- Have experience with 480/60/3PH electrical circuitry and operating forklifts/personnel lifting equipment.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Are reliable, have good attendance, and can work collaboratively across teams.
- Can read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
