Kelly Services in partnership with Cummins has immediate openings to join our team at Cummins Power Generation in Fridley, MN.  We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Scanner / Records Clerk to assist with organizing, digitizing, and maintaining shipping and warehouse documentation. This position will be responsible for locating historical records, scanning documents into electronic systems, and ensuring files are uploaded and stored accurately within company databases. The role will be 1st shift and split time between a warehouse environment and an office setting.

  • 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, $20.00/hr

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in data entry, document management, administrative support, or records management 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Basic computer skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

  • Ability to lift and move file boxes or documents as needed. May require lifting file boxes and retrieving records from storage locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve shipping and operational documents from warehouse storage areas.

  • Frequent standing, walking, and document handling.

  • Prepare documents for scanning by organizing, sorting, and verifying records.

  • Scan paper documents and upload electronic files into the appropriate database systems.

  • Perform data entry to ensure records are accurately labeled and indexed.

  • Review scanned documents for quality and completeness.

  • Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.

  • Process document requests and assist with record retrieval as needed.

  • Follow company procedures for document handling, retention, and confidentiality.

  • Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to locate and manage records.
