What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating coating pans and aqueous coating machines according to formula instructions and SOPs.
- Preparing coating solutions, loading tablets, monitoring process indicators, and maintaining attention to equipment variables.
- Recording production activities using good documentation practices and coordinating quality testing with Quality Assurance.
- Cleaning equipment, utensils, and rooms according to approved procedures.
- Downloading/discharging coated tablets into sanitary containers and obtaining quality approval.
- Monitoring operations for deviations, quality, or mechanical issues and suggesting improvements.
- Wearing required personal protective equipment for safety and hygiene.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Are able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and lift throughout your shift (up to 40 lbs, handle drums up to 110 kg).
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Can speak, read, and write in English.
- Are comfortable working in a safety-sensitive environment and wearing various types of respirators.
- Have basic math skills and familiarity with the metric system.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
- Have mechanical aptitude and can disassemble/reassemble equipment (preferred).
