Job details

Our client is looking for an organized and proactive Administrative Coordinator to support their Environmental Health and Safety team. From managing communications and documentation to coordinating key departmental activities, you’ll play an important role in helping the team operate efficiently and keeping critical information accurate and accessible.
 
Location: Duluth, MN
Contract: 6 months plus
Pay: $25 to $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
 
 
What you will be doing
 
You will help keep the EHS team organized, informed, and on track across a variety of responsibilities:
 

  • Coordinate and send out the weekly Safety Action of the Week and help create engaging internal communications, presentations, and awareness campaigns

  • Support employee engagement efforts tied to safety, wellness, environmental compliance, and security initiatives

  • Keep EHS policies, procedures, and work instructions current by managing updates, version control, and review timelines

  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet records and chemical inventories, making sure everything is accurate, organized, and easy to access

  • Assist with audits and documentation tied to chemical compliance programs

  • Update and manage content on the company intranet so employees can quickly find what they need

  • Organize files, templates, and records in line with document retention requirements

  • Track action items from meetings and help follow through on next steps

  • Pull together reports, metrics, and presentations that support team goals and leadership updates

  • Schedule meetings, coordinate trainings, and support day to day team operations

  • Help maintain records related to inspections, audits, incidents, and training

 
What we are looking for
 

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a natural attention to detail

  • Comfort working in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay on top of deadlines

  • Clear and professional communication skills

  • A team mindset and willingness to jump in where needed
