Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (one week a month from 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM). Monday to Thursday onsite and working remotely on Fridays
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 – 40 per week

Role Summary: This role is responsible for maximizing recoveries while minimizing collection losses, and working closely with Legal, Bailiff and other vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Administration: Assess all loss recovery files to determine optimal recovery actions; review account history and financial stability of customers; initiate skip trace process on charge-off accounts; make decisions regarding debt repayment and settlement offers.

  • Customer Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound calls for accounts in loss recovery; manage activity to ensure prompt results.

  • Vendor Coordination: Assign accounts to legal counsel or bailiff with clear instructions and documentation; monitor progress and collaborate with legal/bailiff teams.

  • Reporting: Submit daily stats, update settlement and legal assignment trackers, and maintain KPI reports with monthly performance updates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both verbal and written.

  • Minimum high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in automotive finance including credit, collections, customer service, and insurance areas.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and new computer systems.

  • Ability to multi-task, make strong decisions, and analyze effectively.
