Kelly is hiring a Parts Counter Sales Representative on behalf of a company who specializes in new and used commercial trucks, parts, service, and maintenance, earning a reputation for quality, reliability, and exceptional customer support.
$20.00 – $23.00 (Based on experience) + incentive opportunities
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email with identifying and ordering the correct parts.
- Recommend related products and current promotions to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor backorders and help locate hard to find parts.
- Maintain accurate records, including lost sales and inventory information.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products and industry knowledge.
- Deliver outstanding customer service
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in truck or automotive parts.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Previous truck or automotive parts experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Applicants should be able to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., including:
- 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Your shift will be assigned based on business needs and your availability. Once assigned, your schedule will remain consistent and will not rotate. If you have specific days you are unavailable to work, accommodation may be considered during the interview process.
