What’s a typical day as Accounting Analyst – Treasury & Investments? You’ll be:
- Partnering with senior leadership to support day-to-day accounting operations
- Performing daily cash reconciliations and investigating discrepancies as needed
- Assisting with wire transfer processing, including transaction entry and approvals
- Contributing to audit preparation by reviewing investment-related financial documentation and ensuring required support is complete and organized
- Analyzing audited financial statements received from external investment managers
- Completing audit support schedules, checklists, and financial statement footnote reviews
- Extracting, organizing, and summarizing financial data for reporting purposes
- Reconciling limited partner net asset values (NAV) to overall fund NAV
- Providing additional accounting and finance support on special projects and other assignments as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have at least 2 years of experience in public accounting, audit, investment accounting, or a related accounting function (preferred)
- Have experience working with an ERP or enterprise accounting system
- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis
- Are highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Can prioritize competing responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines
- Are self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders
