Temp to Hire
Shift: 7am-3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $25–$28/hr
What’s a typical day as CNC Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Preparing, setting up, and operating a variety of CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts
- Translating instructions into computer commands (G/M code) for machines such as Fanuc or Mitsubishi
- Loading raw materials and parts, running test cycles, and adjusting settings as needed
- Supervising machines during operation, making offsets, inspecting and measuring finished products for quality
- Maintaining machinery and keeping the work area organized
- Identifying product defects, completing documentation, and reporting to supervisors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have proven experience as a CNC operator or setup operator, with specific expertise in 5-axis mills and/or live tooling lathes with sub spindle (minimum 3 years required)
- Are proficient in reading mechanical drawings and understanding G code programming (Fanuc/Mitsubishi)
- Are computer savvy; experience with CAD/CAM, Mastercam is a plus
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude, solid math skills, and a keen eye for detail
- Communicate effectively and can work independently or as part of a team
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (certificate/diploma in engineering preferred) and have completed an apprenticeship
- Are a US Citizen (required per defense regulations)
- Can regularly lift 30-50 pounds and meet the vision and manual dexterity demands of precision manufacturing
