What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:
• Picking, staging, and shipping materials for production, service, and global customer deliveries
• Executing and verifying daily SAP transactions for all material movements, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance
• Operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and performing light sub-assembly as needed
• Receiving inbound vendor materials, returns, and special components, and managing discrepancies quickly
• Ensuring priority parts and kits are moved to the right stations or partner sites to prevent delays
• Maintaining warehouse readiness with 5S practices, clean environments, and safety-first standards
• Operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and performing light sub-assembly as needed
• Assisting with cycle counts, inventory audits, and correcting inventory accuracy issues
• Supporting safe transportation and documentation compliance for domestic and international shipments
• Serving as a resource for less experienced handlers during complex staging or rush orders
• Flexing to other operational roles as needed to meet workload demands
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma (required); technical or logistics coursework is preferred
• Bring at least 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or material handling roles
• Are familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems (strongly preferred)
• Can interpret pick lists, BOMs, and documentation related to custom high-value equipment
• Demonstrate an independent, detail-oriented approach to resolving discrepancies
• Have proven competence in safe forklift and material handling practices (certifications a plus)
• Possess strong organizational habits to meet tight shipping and production deadlines
• Can stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Are available for overtime as required
