Senior Manager of Manufacturing | Direct Hire | 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am | $125,000-$180,000/year + Bonus (based on skills and experience) | Horsham, PA

What’s a typical day as Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations? You’ll be:
•    Building and developing a strong leadership team by coaching supervisors and technicians for precision and accountability
•    Directing and optimizing all 2nd shift manufacturing operations to deliver on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
•    Aligning shift priorities with customer delivery requirements, new design releases, and materials readiness to ensure efficient production flow
•    Partnering cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure on-time shipment of complex capital equipment
•    Tracking and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs), lessons learned, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership
•    Leading root cause problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys), implementing corrective and preventive actions for ongoing improvement
•    Tracking and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs), lessons learned, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership
•    Championing a culture of safety and operational excellence through 6S and engagement initiatives
•    Driving change and embedding best practices to scale operations for global market demand

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
•    Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or equivalent training/experience
•    Have 10+ years of progressive production leadership experience, including managing both management-level and hourly teams for 5+ years
•    Are proficient with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
•    Possess demonstrated success leading complex electro-mechanical equipment builds in high-mix, dynamic environments
•    Exhibit strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to unite teams to deliver aggressive production targets
•    Have experience with structured problem-solving and lean manufacturing (CI certifications like Six Sigma or KAIZEN a plus)
•    Are familiar with capital equipment manufacturing (preferred)
•    Are flexible and available to work 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) and adapt to fast-changing operational needs
