Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00/hour

Shift: Sunday 10:45PM to 7:30AM
Monday thru Thursday 11:00PM to 7:30AM

What’s a typical day as Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:

  • Performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of plastic, sheet metal, and electronic components for conformance to customer specifications

  • Completing real-time data entry and maintaining accurate quality records

  • Providing feedback to engineers and entering data in internal database systems

  • Obtaining and maintaining drawings and procedures; performing inspections on various production lines as necessary

  • Conducting visual inspections of printed circuit board assemblies using IPC-A-610 Standards, BOMs, and written procedures

  • Directing products for rework and confirming completion

  • Interfacing with source inspectors and preparing documentation packages for first article requirements

  • Performing process audits and ensuring compliance with internal documentation requirements

  • Maintaining ESD integrity within the production environment and ensuring cleanliness of work area

  • Participating in training and potentially training other employees

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field (electronics focus preferred) and at least 2 years of inspection experience in a high-volume, contract-manufacturing environment

  • Hold IPC-A-600/610/620 Certification

  • Are familiar with operating a 3D Automated Optical Inspection (3DAOI) machine

  • Can follow blueprint instructions and written procedures from engineering groups

  • Understand basic electro-mechanical tools (multi-meters, calipers, etc.) and hand tools (wrenches, torque drivers, etc.)

  • Can interpret detailed drawings, schematics, and diagrams

  • Have experience using ERP systems and possess basic computer, mathematical, and workstation skills

  • Demonstrate strong organizational, reading comprehension, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Are self-motivated, able to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail

  • Have experience with high-volume work and thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment

  • Have ESD training; ISO 9001 experience is a plus

  • Are a US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15 (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or temporary resident granted amnesty)
