Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Inspector/Packer to join our plastics manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manually inspecting finished plastic parts, packing them for shipment, operating machines as needed, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect plastic products for quality, checking for discoloration, burns, contamination, and other defects.
  

• Record all necessary data regarding product quality or job performance as required by management.
  

• Pack products, transfer completed parts into shipping containers, print and affix labels using SAP, and stack boxes correctly on pallets.
  

• Maintain cleanliness of production and packing areas: sweep floors, clean equipment, and promptly address any spills or leaks.
  

• Operate molding presses and perform secondary operations such as reaming, trimming, facing, and hot stamping.
  

• Sort and rework non-conforming products, document defects, and label reject items appropriately.
  

• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain good working relationships across departments.
  

• Complete all required training and conduct work in accordance with safety guidelines.
  

• Comply with state and federal safety and environmental regulations; use approved safety equipment.
  

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Average or better math skills.
  

• Good color perception and manual dexterity.
  

• Able to walk and stand for long periods and safely lift up to 35 lbs.
  

• Strong attention to detail; able to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  

• Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
  

• Proficient with computers; experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), email, and SAP preferred.
