Quality Inspector |Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:00pm | $19.77/hr. | Baldwin Park, CA

Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:00pm

What’s a typical day as Quality Inspector? You’ll be:

  • Performing in-process and final inspections of packed columns to ensure products meet customer and internal specifications/standards

  • Conducting inspections using visual methods, measurements, and functional testing

  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, work instructions, and test instructions to evaluate product quality

  • Ensuring products are free of cosmetic defects and meet standards for form, fit, function, and appearance

  • Approving Device History Records (DHR) and associated documentation for product release

  • Collaborating with production operators to segregate finished goods until final release

  • Recommending and implementing process improvements and modifications for quality enhancement

  • Preparing nonconformance reports for products not meeting specifications

  • Evaluating test equipment for proper operation and providing feedback for process improvement

  • Supporting the Quality System and ISO certification requirements by following procedures and maintaining accurate records

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have previous experience in quality control, inspection, or a related manufacturing environment (preferred)

  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical documents and procedures

  • Are comfortable using measurement tools and performing visual and functional testing

  • Excel at teamwork, communication, and providing constructive feedback to improve quality processes
