Production Operator III – Extrusion Line Operator
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 12-hour shifts
Pay: $23 – $28 per hour
SUMMARY:
The Production Operator III – Extrusion Line Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a plastic extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to production procedures and diagrams.
- Adjust and clean machines as necessary, documenting work performed.
- Collaborate closely with senior personnel to ensure efficient operation and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a moderate understanding of general aspects of the extrusion process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with machines.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have experience with profile extrusion.
- Minimum of 2 years of general work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the following is preferred:
- Extruders
- Water tanks
- Pullers
- Cutters
- Die tooling and sizers
- Various types of plastic resins
- Extruders
SKILLS:
- Strong mechanical and operational skills.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot machine issues.
- Physical strength and stamina are essential.
- Proficient computer skills and good dexterity.
- Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation.
- Initiative in facilitating the goals of the company.
