How about this one? We’re seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Registry Engagement Representative) to work at a leading organization in Pasadena, CA. With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
What’s a typical day as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative? You’ll be:

  • Answering inbound calls from IHSS recipients who require urgent back-up homecare support

  • Assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities in locating replacement homecare workers

  • Providing guidance and support to recipients navigating county and state assistance programs, including IHSS and Medi-Cal

  • Connecting callers with appropriate community resources based on their unique needs

  • Accurately documenting calls, actions taken, and follow-ups in internal systems

  • Communicating clearly and compassionately with individuals experiencing high-stress or urgent situations

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are bilingual in Spanish and English (required)

  • Have prior call center or high-volume phone experience (preferred)

  • Bring experience with IHSS, homecare, or social services (a strong plus)

  • Possess strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Have the ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in urgent or emergency situations

  • Are reliable and able to commit to a minimum 6-month assignment

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
