Production Operator – Finishing
Pay Rate: $20.33/hr
Shift Schedule: 3:15am – 3:30pm
Work Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (FHD Schedule)


Position Overview

Join our manufacturing team as a Production Operator in the Finishing Department! In this role, you will play an essential part in the production process by operating equipment, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring high-quality output throughout your shift. This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for candidates ready to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment to transform raw materials into finished goods.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory and process records for all materials.

  • Perform in-process quality tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content) to ensure products meet required specifications.

  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or product deficiencies to maintain optimal production.

  • Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, schematics, and written instructions for assembly and production tasks.

  • Track orders, monitor work progress, and help coordinate workflow with production schedules.

  • Work with materials planning, production, and maintenance staff to prepare and monitor master schedules.

  • Request materials and coordinate delivery timelines as needed.

  • Follow all established policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Entry-level: No prior experience or training required.

  • Willingness to learn new skills and company procedures.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, work instructions, and safety guidelines.

  • Good recordkeeping and basic documentation skills.

  • Comfortable performing and recording simple quality tests.

  • Able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive.

  • Detail-oriented and consistent in following established procedures.

  • Ability to perform routine tasks with professionalism and accuracy.
